Radio
What is radio

In modern society the use of radio has been used around the world for the purpose of broadcasting and transmitting clear and fast information across every spectrum of the globe. Radios have different types of category's as every radio has its own purpose and function. The most used radios such as AM, FM, Shortwave, Longwave, Satelite, Ham, DAB, Walkie-Talkie and HD radio. Each of these radios use different bands, radio bands determine the wavelengths and frequency used as well as being only applicable to analog radio.
Radio waves
Radio waves are the electromagnetic waves of frequencies used for long distance communication. Radio waves are stated by NASA to have the longest wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum with their wavelengths ranging from 1 MM to over 100 KM according to the radio frequencies.
Physical radios work via transmission and the receiving of electromagnetic signals rapidly. A transmitter radiates the fields outwards, using an antenna, and the receiver picks up the field and signal and translates it to sound.

1920 signified the first commercial station to go on air when broadcasted was created regarding the elections. The success of the KDKA broadcast in Pittsburg inspired the technology and future of broadcasting worldwide.

Radio broadcasting
The radio was developed in the 20th century as the breakthrough way to broadcast audio signals for large distances and wide audiences. Although the first period was just experimental, the VHF band aired commercially 40 years later. In definition radio broadcasting is the transmission of audio, by radio waves to radio receivers belonging to the public audience. Radio transmission can sometimes be related to metadata. Terrestial radio broadcasting is used when the radio waves are broadcasted by a land based station. While satellite radio is when the radio waves are broadcasted by a satellite in earth orbit. A broadcast radio receiver (or radio) enables a listener to receive the content of a radio.

Several different types of modulation are used by radio stations when broadcasting, AM radio and FM radio are the two oldest and most well known types of modulation. AM radio stations in amplitute modulation, FM radios transmit in frequency modulation.
AM & FM

AM or amplified modulation is considered to be the oldest form of wireless broadcasting. Using a process known as modulation enables an audio signal to modify the strength of radio waves quickly, which AM receivers decode into sound. The amplitude is the signal strength of the carrier wave that's varied in proportion to the message signal.
The transistor was developed in the 1960s, allowing the smaller sized amplitude modulation radio to become a reality, though the early types used vacuum tubes. Although the system was fairly simple and straightforward, the quality of the sound was underwhelming compared to today's standards as well as it being vulnerable to electrical noises. The transistor had a light called a magic eye, which by measuring peak power, helps tune a particular channel precisely.
FM one of the most commonly known radio bands. FM focuses on the modulation of the radio freuquency rather than the strength

Sine waves

Modern day radios use sine waves in order to transmit various information audio, video and raw data.

Radios use of sine waves allows them to distinguish different channels based on their frequency or number of cycles in the sound wave per second.
This enables ten to thousands of channels on modern radios to be in the same space without too much interference.
Enron

Enron corporation used to be an American energy, commodities and services company based in Houston Texas. Founded in Kenneth Lay in 1985 as a merger between Lay's Houston Natural Gas and InterNorth.

Wordmark
The wordmark is the most familiar thing when looking at a logo. The word mark of a logo can look crisp and clean or modern. It includes only the company name as the logo, no symbols, mascots or badges. Wordmarks are also called logotypes and can include monogram logo variations for smaller spaces like social media profiles and favicons.
Because of the simplicity of these logos, typography and spacing are really important.

When a designer wants to include a wordmark into their logos they need to make sure the name establishes word recognition by making it short and distinctive.
Abastract iconography

Abstract iconography is a when a logo is made in a very creative and complex way with no clear meaning or concept. With abstract logos what makes them prevalent is because it is the people and the meaning people give to these type of logos that can make them stand out. Religious symbols are a primary example of this as although initially there logos had no inherent meaning over time the represent and stand for something in the minds of people who follow and worship those logos/symbols.
An abstract logo expresses so many concepts and feelings within a single symbol which makes them a popular choice for brands and designers. Abstract logos can include line drawn symbols, shapes, patterns and illustrations. They help to communicate a brands message using non literal imagery.
Pictoral logo

The pictoral logo is when a logo resembles a real icon or represents a real thing and usually has a name that identifies with the company like the apple next to the apple icon. They are also called brand marks as they are made up of a graphic symbol or icon that represents a real world object. Logos that are simple and straightforward.
The logo system

The logo system is logo design that has a recognisable mark yet points to other systems and reference and has more of an artistic style and aesthetic to it. A logo system is when a logo incorporates more than just a singular static mark, they act more as a graphical framework that shift and change for different situations and themes and concepts which gives the brand the ability to trigger intrigue and spark a conversation beyond its name. It is because of this reason that logo systems constantly on the upswing as it also reminds people what is important or what is a priority on a specific day.

Here is an example of google using a logo system. This is goodgles of many designs that targets a certain season or holiday, in this case halloween as well as christmas even. Google has also created logo system designs for more sensitive nd controversial topics such as black history month.
Examples of wordmarks

The google wordmark is one of the most iconic logos of all incorporations in modern society. The color pattern within the logos are recognisable. The colours are simple yet have an eye catching scheme and are aesthetically pleasing.

The coca cola logo Black and white colour palette has always protrayed professionalism. The red colour theme within its logo has brought in a sleek and eye catching design combined with its colour palette.

The Nike logo is seen as one of the most simple yet most effective branding visuals. Through it's slogan just do it the logos design also helps to build a psychological impact. The swoosh symbol of the logo is inspired of off of the wings of Nike the Goddess, the logo comes off as representing freedom, or taking flight.
The history of Cooper Black

Cooper Black is a highly innovative well used type phase used today and in the 90's created by Oscar Cooper. Cooper Black is a highly versatle ultra bold serif typeface. It was released by the Barnhart Brothers and Spindler type foundry in 1922. It was drawn as an extra bold weight Coopers old Cooper style family. Coopers type phase has been around for a century worth of innovation of changes in technology and pop culture. The history of typeface begins a hundred years ago in the city of chicago in 1919 right after WW1. During this great resurgence for supply and demand there were two dominating materials for commercial printing were wood and metal
AE logo design: workshop tutorial
This is my after effects workshop where i will be showing my process of creating a logo motion graphics design in tutorial.
Placing logos into my comp
I selected my five png logos and clicked and dragged them into my comp.
Placing my logos into my sequence
By selecting the layers from my import file i clicked cmd and A to select the layers and moved it to my sequence.

Scaling my logos to size

I altered the scale of my logos so they didn't cover my screen.

The first problem i had with my logos is that they were too big and filled the screen. I then remembered to click the S button which triggers the CMD for scale which allows me to alter the size of my logos.
What i am also doing is adjusting the sizes of the logo and making them relatively the same size so when i do transition between them there is not going be an inconsistency in how big they are in order to make it clear.
Re arranging the order of my logos

What i am also doing is rearranging the order of my layers. The reason i am doing this is to make each logo match or correspond with the logo after it. For instance if i am first starting with the wordmark coca cola logo my next layer is going to be pepsi because i think that is a good correspondance as the layers have a similar colour. I also want to show the transition from watermark to abstract iconography.
Setting the duration for my layers.

I then right clicked and went to keyframe assistant and clicked on sequence layers. What i then did is clicked on overlap and set the duration for five seconds. The five minute duration is enough time for my layers to stand and then transition between each other then i am going to add my effects.
Cutting my layers

What i then proceed to do is cutting my layers. This is going to be a short motion graphics design of transitions between logos so what i did i select CMD + D to cut my layers/
Setting up my layer transitions

This is how my layers are going to be layed out. What i am then also doing is putting my logos in front of and behind each other. This is going to make my transitions better because the next logo will appear right behind the other one as it creates this seamless transition between logos.
Adding my effects: Glass and vr digital glitch effect.

This is where i am now going to add two effects that will make my transitions look better. There are two effects i am going to add, the glass effect and the VR digital glitch effect. The VR digital glitch effect will create a glitch effect around my logo at the time of its transition to the next one. The vr glitch effect is a good transition add because it makes this cool and quick transition between your effects, and when applied to the glass effect which i am going to apply next will make it even better.
Keyframes

What i then need to do is look at my keyframes for my effect so what i did is click on the U key button and then it showed me my keyframes. For my keyframes i need to arrange my keyframes to be at the beginning and end of my layers. The effect then starts at the beginning of the layer and the end of it through the transition.
Highlighting my keyframes
What i did next was set my distortion frames to zero. This was to further strengthen the glitch and glass effect as to make them more stand out.

Putting my keyframes onto my layer inpoint
I then placed one of my keyframes on to my inpoint which is at the end of my first layer.

I then copied the same keyframe at the end of my layer and pasted it on the beginning of my inpoint layer.

So far this is the result of the glitch effect. I am going to add the glass effect later on but at the moment i am currently trying to refine the glitch effect and get the layer transitions smooth enough so then all i need to do is just add the glass effect and then copy and paste the key marks to the rest of the layers.

At this point of my process i was stuck because at the time i didn't know how to work with the keyframes. There was also other layout settings on the keyframes i was not aware i had to change at that point.

At the moment i am copying and pasting my keyframes to the inpoint and endpoint of my layers. Once i do that i am then going to edit the layout settings of my checkmarks to further strengthen the effects placed on my logos.
Applying the 3D glasses effect

I am now going to apply the 3D glasses effect. This effect will create a mirror effect of the logo which combined with the digital glitch effect will make a reflective glitch transition effect. I placed it on my first layer on my sequence. Then once i organise the keyframes of the effect i am going to copy and paste the keyframes to the other layers.
Editing effect layout

For the Glasses effect what i then need to do is make the logos reflective and how i do that is going to 3D glasses FX on the left and where it says left view and right view i click on that and click on the Fanta logo. This will make a reflection the logo.
Balanced coloured Red and Blue

However i dont want there to be a mirror image of my logo as there would mess with the transition so what i did was go to 3D glasses layout again and went to 3D view and clicked on Balanced Coloured Red and Blue. And then i click on the magnification radio popup which is the 100%. This will create a Red and Blue reflection come out behind the logo which, when combined with the glitch transition creates this nice red and blue 3D effect combined with the glitchy transition.
Selecting Glasses keyframes

With the Glasses effect i selected the scene convergence, vertical alignment and balance and started playing with them. Scaling the scene convergence would make the red and blue distortion as the logo splits into two.
Review

So far i just want to review my progress. I have been able to get the glitch and glasses effect on to my logos and at the moment the transition isn't too bad as the effects i have implemented work really well though i need to improve the pace and timing of my effects as well which bring out better my pre existing effects.
Eclipsing the logo behind the other

The background red and blue glass effect works on the fanta to transition to the next logo. The eclipsing transition creates a quick but flashy effect.

I am continuing to copy and paste my keyframes to other layers with the glitch and glass effects.
Final result

Evaluation
What i would say went well is my positioning and layout of my keyframes. The transitions of the logos were clear and accurate. Also i am satisfied with the final outcome as the glitch and glasses effect combined is very useful and his inspired me to bring about more ideas on how to use it next time i am going to design logos.

Use of Radio equipment
Radio: intro to studio and equipment
In this section i am going to research audio equipments.
Digital Audio Workstation (DAW)
A digital audio workstation is a music production software that allows people to record audio on their personal computer. The software works both on a MAC and a PC and it records audio, edits audio, does MIDI editing, mixing and mastering.
DAWS work by converting analog audio that arrives via an external audio interface into a digital sequence that is processed on a computer.
The audio information will appear visually on a computer screen as bars representing MIDI commands also known as sonic wave forms, that is then manipulated as sound data by interacting with it on your computer screen.

Record and edit audio
DAW features audio sequencers that let users record multiple tracks and play them back simultaneously. You can cut, copy and paste audio waveforms much in the same way you can move text in a word processing program.
Experiment with audio effects
DAW workstations offer various effect processing features for your audio files. Effects such as delay, reverb, tremolo, compression, EQ, and echo tend to come standard on a DAW.
work on sound design and non-musical audio.
DAW stations work for any type of audio. Sound designers, ADR engineers, audio editors and voiceover artists use the amse DAW programs used by top music producers.
A speaker also called a loudspeaker or speaker driver is a type of electroacoustic transducer, a device that converts an electric audio signal into a corresponding sound.

In order for a speaker to produce sound efficiently, especially at low frequencies the speaker driver has to be baffled so that the sound coming out of its rear does not cancel out the intended sound from the front. This generally takes the form of a speaker enclosure or speaker cabinet often made as rectangular box made of wood, metal or plastic. This design plays an important role in determining the resulting sound quality.

High fidelity speakers mostly have two or more sorts of speaker drives that specializes in one part of the audible frequency range. The smaller drivers capable of reproducing the highest audio frequencies are called tweeters, mid range drivers are those for middle-frequencies, woofers are for low frequencies.
Speakers main objective is to offer audio output for the listener. Audio speakers are used in almost every aspect of live, from radio to music such as studios or concerts and even television and public speaking and festivals. There are a wide range of different speakers all with their different functions.

A dynamic speaker is the most common type of loudspeaker that uses a magnetic field to move a cone shaped diaphram. When alternating the audio signal is applied to the coil, diaphram vibrates and causes air to move, thus creating sound. Dynamic speakers convey excitement and provide the audible sound in equipment such as radios, studio equipment, concerts, televisions and home stereos.
Studio speakers allow you to hear how something sounds whether it be radio or music without the use of headphones. There are loud speakers specifically designed for professional audio production applications such as recording studios, filmmaking, television studios, radio studios as well as project and home studios. The term monitor is the implication that the speaker is designed to produce relatively flat phase and frequency responses. An unqualified reference to a monitor refers to a near field design

A microphone is a transducer that converts sound into an electrical signal. They are used in telephones, public address systems, for sound recording, audio engineering and radio and television broadcasting. They are also used for speech recognition when used in computers and other purposes such as ultrasonic sensors or knock sensors. There are several types of microphones used in todays society that employ different methods of converting the air pressure variations of a sound wave into an electrical signal. The most common types of microphones are dynamic microphones. Dynamic microphones use a coil of wire suspended in a magnetic field, Condenser microphones use the vibrating diaphgram as a capacitor plate, and contact microphone uses a crystal of piezoelectric material. A microphone needs to be connected to preamplifier before it can be used for recording.

Condenser microphones
Condenser microphones are microphones that provide a wider frequency range than dynamic microphones although they do have a lower input sensitivity. Since in general condenser microphones will pick more of the input signal faster this means that most condenser microphones are more suitable quieter environments such as studio environments. Condenser microphones work like a highly specialized capacitor. What makes the condenser microphone well known for its superior sound quality is it's diaphgram as they are very good at picking up minute details. The low mass of a condenser microphone diaphgram allows it to vibrate with the sound waves of an input source more accurately than the heavy moving coil attached to a dynamic microphone.

Radio rules and regulations.
Libel is the law in which if anyone says anything that attempts to defame either an individual/organisation . If a lawsuit is proven so successful it can even bankrupt a radio station overnight. A statement is considered defamotory if it unfairly damages reputation by exposing a person to hatred, contempt, shame or ridicule or makes a person likely to be avoided or shunned.
Radio regulation essay

Ofcom also known as the office of communications is the regulator for communication services. A government approved regulatory for the broadcasting, telecommunication and postal industries of the UK. Ofcom has wide ranging powers across the televison, radio's, telecoms and postal sectors. It has the statutory duty to represent the interests of both consumers and citizens by promoting competition and protecting the public from harmful or offensive material.

Ai: Logo making
For todays workshop i am going to be creating my own logo in Adobe Illustration.
Introduction to Ai

Today for my workshop i am opening Adobe Illustration. I am going to be working in HDTV by 1080. The reason i am working in this format is because my logo design for my radio production is going to be in this format. Since my radio work is mainly going to be produced in this format this format is where my work is consistently going to be working under.
Creating my background

To create a background Adobe Illustration you can create a rectangle when selecting the rectangle tool CMD+M. From here you can then create or design anything you want within your rectangle background.
Creating shapes.

I then used the star tool and made a red outline. At the moment im just experimenting with the shape tools of illustration.
Creating a new layer

I then created another layer. In the next layer i am going to make another shape. Im trying to see if i can create a logo of sort with the star shape and another shape.
Creating another shape

I then created a pentagon tool on my second layer. I added a yellow golden color too it. I'm thinking of getting rid of the star shape and applying a logo within the pentagon shape.
Using the line tool

I then used the line segment tool. I am going to use the line segment tool and make a typography logo within the pentagon. I think this will look good and will help to give me a basic understanding of how to use your creativity and tools around you in order to make basic and later on intricate logo designs.
I use the line tool and make a line through the middle of my shape. My idea is to write in typography within the lines of the shape.

Creating a triangle within my shape.

What i am now doing next is just creating lines from different points from within the area of the shape. So my first one stands underneath the first line in the center then i move to the end of the middle line and put the endpoint on one of the opposite corners at the bottom.

I then create a line and connect to the one above it which gives the lines put together the appearance of a triangle within the shape. What i am then going to do is include words within the shape in different colors. This i think will look nice and be my basic introduction to illustration in understanding the basics of using creative thought in order to make simple yet effective designs.

I then coloured in the triangle in mixed colors of blue, red, purple and pink and added two words on the to and bottom saying yes and no. There is no meaning to the yes or no words i just thought it helped to emphasize the color of my simple logo with it's black and gold colours.
Review of AI
I found Adobe Illustration key functions to be straightforward. The logo i made is not complex in it's form but it taught me the use of the shape tall in illustration and different ways to be creative with the shape tool when combined with the line tool.
AI Tutorial
I watched the video tutorial that taught me the basics of Illustration. I'm going to be watching and screenshotting step by step on what i learn from watching this tutorial video.
Opening up Illustration

This is the beginning of the tutorial. The video recommends HDTV by 1080 as the standard setting for illustration.
This is what opening illustration looks like when you first open it. I am following the tutorial step by step so as to fully take in what the person saying, so i have opened a new file and now going to follow what he does next.

Features of Adobe Illustration.

In this part the tutorial taught me that you can drag your layers tab into your library. This something i havent known before and is useful because now my layer tab is at the top making it more accessible. It also creates more space for my properties tab.

This is the fill section. So just like in Photoshop and After Effects this is where you can add colour to your layers wether it be your background, shapes or anything of your creation within the adobe illustration.

This is where the direct selection tool at the top left corner of the workspace. There are also different versions of the selection tool you have the group selection tool and the lasso tool.
Creating a background.

This is the rectangle tool. So for the next part tutorial we create a rectangle tool, that is going to be the background so i press CMD+M to select the rectangle tool.
Using the rectangle tool.

I selected the rectangle tool by pressing CMD+M and created rectangle in my background. Then i went to my stroke and made the outline of the rectangle blue. Right now i am just following the same approach the tutorial is doing which is just getting me comfortable with basics things like this.
Manipulating my star shape

I then used the shape tool and selected a star and using the up key i changed the way the shape looked as it added more points on the star. This is again something i learned from watching the tutorial. This teaches me how manipulate form of a shape as i can can go from a star then if i want to change it into a triangle.
Manipulating the point of a shape

What the tutorial then taught me is how to manipulate a specific point of a shape. You do this by using the direct selection tool and then clicking on one of the points of the shape and it moves that point only as displayed in this screenshot here where i have clicked on the point at the top of the triangle and now it is only moving the top of the triangle and nothing else.

I continued playing around with the direct selection tool as i made different shapes of forms of the triangle by manipulating the different points.
Creating my Radio logo
After watching the tutorial i decided to create my own logo for my radio show

I created a new backround in illustration and then created a star shape. I colour filled the star green. Right now i am just experimenting with shapes in order to inform an idea of what kind of shape i want my logo to be and what colours i want to use for my project.

I made my star shape bigger and put it into the centre of my white background.

I then colour filled it yellow. The reason i colored the star yellow was to make it bright and stand out as thats the kind of theme i want my radio to have a logo that stands out with bright but presentable and captivating colors.
Selecting the Ellipse tool.

I then decided on the idea to create a circle around my shape so i selected the Ellipse Tool clicking on CMD+L .
I then dragged a circle across to surround my star shape.

What i then do is click on and select my shape and click on fill as to get rid of the yellow circle covering the star so as the outline of the circle is surrounding the star.

I turned up the stroke of the outline of the circle to 14 in order for it to fully encompass the circle.

I created another circle that acts as an inner circle still encompassing the star. The same as before as i erased the fill raised the stroke

I moved in the circle to be more compact with the star. This will give it an aesthetic of looking like an eye.
Putting on a fire background

I then applied a fire fill on my star. I think it improves the aesthetics of the logo as the fire can create a sense of energy and dynamics. This can be a representation of the heated topics that will be spoken in my teams radio.

I then made the outer ring of my logo red. The red strenghthens in my opinion the visuals of my fire background on my star.

I filled the inner ring orange so as to match the aesthetics and feel of the fire on the star.
News value: Case study
News value: Negativity
Negativity is the result of bad news that involves a tragedy such as death, bankruptcy, violence, natural disasters as well as political upheaval.

This news regarding the UK falling into a recession falls under a negative news value as it falls under a bad topic involving political upheaval and bankruptcy.
Closeness to home
An audience more relate to a story closer to home. By closeness to home meaning a news that is geographically in a closer area such as for instance British people will take more interest if a news takes place in Ireland or Wales rather than Brazil all the way in South America. The news is more relative to the people within the country or region. An example of this would be the news above of the looming recession within the UK that is something specifically to do within the UK therefore people who live in the UK will take more interest in this type of news as it is close to home and impacts their country.
Interview: Tone of voice

Tone of voice communicates the piece of content that can be analyzed along 4 dimensions, humour, formality, respectfulness and enthusiasm. Tone of encompasses the idea of how something is communicated over what is communicated. Considering the tone of voice being used when holding a conversation between others it is critical to consider the tone of voice being used so as to great smooth and consistent dialogue that brings comfort and is informative on both sides.

Creating infrographics
In this section i am going to be showing you the step by step development of my very own infographics. The aim is to create a infographics that can then be presented and advertised.
Finding a font.

In order to create my infographics i first needed to find a font to download. I went to this website called Dafont which has access to tons of different themed and stylised fonts.
Downloading different fonts.

What i decided to do is download a wide range of fonts that i think looked nice. The reason i did this is because i was finding it it hard to decide on what fonts to use for my infographic ident so i looked for and downloaded different fonts to choose from so i can decide which one of the fonts i would want to use as well as what combination of fonts i would like to use for infographic as it is going to be made up of a combination of fonts.
Creating my comp

I have created a new comp. Now i am going to start scrolling through the different fonts i have downloaded and i am now going to start scrolling through the fonts i have made and select which ones i want to use for my infographics. Once i do that i am then going to download it and install the font on to my comp and then create an ident title.

Selecting my downloaded fonts

I chose this font called the chinese dragon font because i like how it looks and would make a good infographic so unzipped the file on finder and then installed the font. Once i installed the font i then placed the file into my documents.
Placing my fonts

I wrote the chinese dragon font in the word what. I placed on the top left side of the background.

I then selected the font Zenzai itacha and used that to write in the word is. The question i am making is what is the ideal man. I am writing the words in different fonts of my choice and placing in them in different positions of my comp.
Downloading a new font.

I then donwloaded another font called samurai Bob. I think it looks nice as it matches the other fonts in it's theme and texture. I decided to make this font cover the rest of the question so put the the to the left, the ideal to the right and the man at the bottom. I'm then going to place them on top of each other.

Selecting position for all my layers.
I selected the position for all my layers by pressing cmd+P. What i am then going to do is seperate the layers into different areas of my comp and then bring them all together.
Adding my ruler
I then brought all of fonts and added my ruler by clicking CMD+R. Using the ruler

Spacing out my fonts again.

With the ruler i then seperated my word fonts again
AI workshop 2: idents
what is an ident.

An ident also called a station identification is when a radio or television station/ networks enable the practic of identifying themselves on air. They are 10 to 30 seconds long and are considered a form of advertisement for a brand or channel.
Ident analysis
This video features consistent yet different environmental transitions from channel 4's ident.

The ident is taken in a long shot perspective. The surrounding environment is this first thing that grabs our attention as the sun streaks across the sky. Then our perspective starts going lower and then goes underneath the concrete ground as we are then introduced with parts of the channel 4's logo.
This feeling of constantly falling thanks to the long shot perspective as the channel 4 logo starts coming more and more into shape creates an engaging
Channel 4 is very unique in the way it pays a lot of attention to the details of how it designs and creates very lifelike environments with a very artistic and surreal look to it that is eye catching to its audience.
This combined with the channel pushing very good movies of all genres is what makes channel 4 very good and gaining an audiences attention and views as they way they design and present their idents combined with the feature of the channel presenting a diverse range of good movies to watch is exactly what makes it a successful brand.

ITV idents
This video features a bunch of ITV's old idents among other channels and networks idents. Although all the idents featured in the video are of a much older and vintaged quality they still show a lot of elements such as lighting, pan camera angles and environmental designs that still captured the attention of its demographic and are capable of advertising and presenting their brand.

This ident has lots of flashy lights beaming everywhere. While its purpose maybe to grab an audiences attention it is a bit overwhelming as there is too much flashing lights coming at the watcher at once.

This animation ident from Toei animation comes off with an aesthetic targeted towards young people with its subject being a cat along with its bright colours. It The brand Toei animation are a very creative as they have the biggest animation industry. It's flashy effects with its film tape transition and sparkling lights at the end catches the audiences attention combined with the subject being a cat stylised as a musketeer even more emphasises this.
